Dear person,

I'm truly sorry about the utter informality of the address, but time is of the essence and I didn't have time to spell out all of your names. It'd get quite tiresome and the hand cramps would be unimaginable.

First off, I'm sorry to say that you are most likely dead or soon going to be. Inconvenient, I know. It sure puts a damper on any dinner plans you might have made. However, death isn't as permanent or foreboding as one might think. You could always go with the resurrection route, but that tends to get a little... gooey. You could try and posses some dull mortal, but that's only a temporary solution, plus you'd have to get used to people calling you by a different name and not being able to admire you for you're sparkling personality. However there is a third choice that is rarely heard of, but much more simple and without all the complications.

You didn't think I was just going to tell you, did you? Nothing gained in this world isn't first earned. And boy are you going to have to work for it.

Here's the deal. There's a little tournament going on for survival of existence. And you weren't invited. Or maybe you were and got your butt handed to you, who's to say? All I know is that its party crashin' time and I'm storming the buffet.

Now you can just sit there twiddling your thumbs and wait for the end to come like an unwanted prom-date, or you can dump that bitch and find out what a real party's like. And maybe you just might get lucky and score yourself an ethereal bus ticket out of oblivion.

Major Sam: Head of DoET (Defenders of Everlasting Time)

So you've been beaten? You say you've lost? The only losers in this world are those who don't stand up and spit fate in the face when they're thrown to the ground. Perhaps you want a little revenge, or maybe you just want to save the world. Personally I don't care what you reasons are, cause I don't need to hear about what you plan to do. I want to see how you can get up out of your seat and show me that you aren't just the big talk. Now are you prepared to put and end to the end of days? You better say yes maggots, for a person is haunted by the paths they didn't take, but defined by actions they perform.

Listen up, you might think getting into the fate fighters will be a fun time experience, but the resistance requires those willing to lay down their lives for not just their own existence, but every existence and every living breathing creatures within those existences. Does that weigh heavy on your shoulders? Well, it should. We have a big responsibility here in the DoET. We're going to stop the apocalypse. We're going to look God straight in the eye and smack that bastard square in the face.

Some of you may be experienced in the terrain we are headed into, others won't know a damn thing, so I'm going to brief you a little bit about the background before we drop you all into the shit storm. The following information is considered classified in the highest security. Our superiors would rather I not tell you this, but in my experience secrets get good soldiers killed. And I'd rather not have to back track to collect your cold corpse, so listen hard and remember well.

Our target is a planet derived from the destroyed remnants of shadow worlds. It has been dubbed Fragment. The terrain is harsh and changing. One moment you could be trekking across the vast sand of an ancient desert, the next you're stepping across the frozen tundra of a frozen wasteland. You will be pushed beyond your limits and you will want to quit, want to stop, want to have never agreed to this mission, but you will move forward, even if I have to drag you through the gates of hell. Which have been pin pointed at 29°26'1"N, 7°19'34"E.

The current target is a supreme being who goes by the name Tarot Master. He is labeled extremely dangerous and should not be approached with deadly force. His powers are not full known, but this means we're not sure if he's directly responsible to the end of days, or if he just knows how it will happen. One way or another he's the only one who knows what's going on around here. He appears differently to everyone, but you'll now him if you see him. Also, he has a thing for top hats.

We will be entering Fragment here, just outside a large dense forest. If we follow this river long enough we'll reach the desert in less than a day. From there we're on our own. The desert seems to give off a magnetic force that disrupts transmissions and compasses. We believe that somewhere inside this desert lies some ruins. These ruins. Sandstorms have made pinpointing its location difficult, but we managed to find it. Somewhere inside the ruins is a lift that will take us straight to the Core. The Core is what holds all the pieces of Fragment together. It seems the Core is a man made device designed to create new worlds from scratch, but the project was scraped, apparently someone or something managed to unscrap it. This is our best shot to finding the Tarot Master and getting him to tell us how he plans to prevent one universe from being destroyed in order to recreate it on a mass scale and save the universes.

That's it. That's our mission. Go in, fight the bad guy, get the info, and save existence. Dismissed!

Okay so I realized I wasn't exactly clear on this stuff. So here it goes.

Basically you can do anything you want for your spectator entry. You can choose to follow the ideas above, which were more to get your gears turning, or you can go off on what ever tangent you want. It's really up to you how you do it.

However I personally'd like you to follow a few guidelines.

For Newcomers

When writing your first entry

1. Tell how your character(s) first learned that TEoD tournament was going on.
2. Tell whether they are going to help or to hinder the progress of the resistance
3. Tell how your character(s) are going to get to Fragment

For Booted Bretheren

if you got the ol' pink slip then what I'd like to see from you guys is

1. Exactly why your character isn't dead (It be nice if you incorperated the storyline of the opponent who beat you, but not a necessaty.)
2. How you plan to stop the end of days. (Or how you plan to wrek havoc)
